What this website collects, what happens to it, and the things it deliberately does not do.
This notice covers the OSSOT website. It does not cover the OSSOT platform itself, which each client organisation operates under a separate agreement.
This site collects nothing until you send us something
There are no analytics, no advertising or tracking pixels, no session recording and no third-party scripts of any kind. Nothing on these pages is loaded from another company, so no one else sees that you were here.
The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Nothing about your visit is recorded by us unless you choose to send an application.
What the application form asks for
About your organisation: name, website, type, country, emirate and team size. About you: name, role, business email, and optionally phone, WhatsApp and LinkedIn. About your requirement: what you run today, what you are looking for, approximate number of users, target timeframe, what is failing, and anything else you choose to add.
Only the organisation name and type, the country, your name, your role, your business email and the description of what is failing are required. Everything else is optional.
What happens to a submission
It is assessed automatically against what you provided — whether the email is a company domain, the type and size of the organisation, your role, the timeframe, and how specific the description is — and given a classification we use to prioritise a reply. No decision with a legal or similarly significant effect is made this way; what it affects is whether a person reads it sooner or later.
The submission then reaches the OSSOT team. It is not published, sold, shared with advertisers or added to a marketing list, and it is not used to contact you about anything other than the application you sent.
Keeping the form usable
The application form is protected against automated and abusive submissions by standard technical measures. These involve a brief, temporary check of the request itself; nothing from them is added to your record or kept afterwards.
Service providers
The website is delivered, and applications are received and forwarded to us, with the help of specialist service providers acting on our instructions. They process only what is needed to do that, and keep the ordinary technical records any such service keeps.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold from an application you sent, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Browsing the site requires nothing of you at all.
